Just a great 5 ¾” long ribbon for subtle design and detail. You should enlarge the image to see the work that went into the engraving. Exceptionally clean with an appearance as fresh as likely the day it was made. Listed in Sullivan. This ribbon was part of a small 19th century ribbon collection passed down from family member to family member from about the late 1890’s until recently acquired. Examples of this design have sold close to $2,000 at public auction with just a very few appearances. We are a bit more conservative. Estimate: $1,000-1,200
