About 9 7/8” x 13”. Reverse blank. Essentially an allegory tale parallel to Bible writings but clearly using events just before and up to the election of 1864. “Father Abraham” obviously is Abraham Lincoln while the second candidate refers to George McClellan. Many references to the on-going civil war and much of the 10 commandments in the center of the broadside directly or indirectly refers to the philosophy of the North for progressing the war. Printed in New York. Extra fine. Rare for content.
